Here’s what weak, low status body language looks like:
- Lack of eye contact, or looking downwards
- Fidgeting and moving your hands or head around a lot
- Touching your face with your hands
- Short, sharp, quick movements
- Slouching
Here’s what powerful, high status body language looks like:
- Good eye contact
- Holding your body and head still, with few, deliberate movements
- Slow, deliberate, graceful movements or not moving at all
- Standing upright and tall
Take some time today to notice your body language. Are you using powerful body language?
