What do you want to be thinking and feeling? What are you actually thinking and feeling? Is there a disjunct?
You can have all the thoughts and feelings you want – just like Nelson Mandela who was mentally and emotionally free even though he was oppressed and imprisoned for 27 years.
Your thoughts create your feelings. So if you want to change your feelings, then watch and notice your thoughts and question the ones that are creating the feelings you don’t want, and replace them with liberating thoughts.
