lovingwhatisAs always, one of my big reasons for choosing this book is because of how it resonates with Agile Living. In Loving What Is, Byron Katie shares her process for changing the way you think and feel and how you experience life – it’s essentially a way to create emotional freedom, no matter what situation you’re in. If Agile Living could be summed up into one core value, it would probably be freedom, and creating any sort of freedom in your life – the freedom to live and work anywhere you choose, financial freedom, freedom to do the work you love, freedom in a relationship, and so on, starts with creating emotional and mental freedom for yourself first so that you can think and feel clearly as you go about shaping the world around you and creating what you love.

In the Bottom-line on Loving What Is, you’ll learn:

  • How to have an Agile mind and feel the way you want to feel, even when the circumstances around you aren’t going your way.
  • How to get expand your life, rid of the restrictions on your freedom, fun, happiness, peace and love, and feel more of the good feelings you want to feel.
  • How to tell when you’re having an inaccurate perception of reality, so that you can learn to develop more accurate perceptions of reality and develop more effective responses to shape your reality.
  • A simple process for getting out of internal conflict and discovering your own wisdom and truths so you can make decisions that are aligned with your truths.
  • How to deal with people who annoy, scare, intimidate or anger you, and use those interactions to get clearer about what’s important to you, so you can live your life in alignment with what’s most important to you.
  • How to deal with conflict so that you speak your truths whilst letting other people speak theirs.
